just started playing the first yesterday after seeing the three minute trailer for this one. so far its pretty damn good, i will likely pick this up as well
day one!!!!!!!
and they look the same to me
agreed, i didnt even know the game existed until i was droppin a duke and reading my game informer about 3 weeks ago. seen an interview with ken rolston and seen this was his newest game. looked into it and was pumped, played the demo and couldnt have been more impressed. :)
reason number 1: the demo was flipping awesome and i cannot wait to experience the full game!!!
day one, midnight if possible.
good to see kingdom of amalur getting up there!!!! i hope it sells many millions :)
is the whole point of game development not to create a game? in that time you create assets, program the game, modify current or existing engines to work with your game, develop a story, cut scenes, Audio, etc.. all those things you create to create an original game still apply to sequels. your basically giving UC3 a pass becuase in order to do those things they would have to, um....do their jobs?? i program on the side, i know how much work it is, its extensive no doubt but its what they...
i only played 3 games last year that i cared enough to beat and they were batman, dark souls, and sonic generations ( generations also had the worst final boss in my entire history of gaming but was otherwise a solid game )
beyond that, most other titles were meh for me. at least of the ones i played which didnt include portal 2
there are many new things they could have added with the same engine.
1. platforming sections could actually be legitimate platforming instead of hop from one platform, platform falls behind you, new platform shakes, you jump, platform falls behind you.
2. they could have reworked the gun play to add a little depth. give drake some customizable guns similar to resident evil, he shoots on every jouorney he takes so it would not be unrealstic for him to sta...
explains why 3 was a carbon copy of the first two with only minor tweaks and no real new features. i couldnt even finish it becuase it was just too much of the same for me.
1. i will buy this day one, it looks fantastic and no i havent played the pc version.
2. if it sells better on 360 you can almost all but guarantee the game will be primarily a console rpg next time around and ported to the pc later. games is a business and devs/pubs will follow the money.
@CrazyInsane
id be inclined to agree with you there. i only game on consoles but typically when its on pc first it ends up with more features overall...
thought i was alone in this, RE3 was by far my fav as well. nothing was more intense than knowing nemesis could pop out at any time and when he did it was scary as all hell, i nearly shat bricks each time. RE2 is a close second, followed by RE4, then RE5. i wasnt big on the first one or the remake of the first and not a fan of code veronica either
i dont think it was scary at all either, it was however a fantastic action game just not a good resident evil game.
these guys from gigabots are possibly the two most annoying Internet game journalists i have ever heard. they sound and remind me of beavis and butthead and on any of the previews i have watched them do, they do nothing but nitpick of every single tiny meaningless thing....
"Would anyone say it's because the O and X are backwards?" [Note: The standard button functions are different in American vs. Japanese PlayStation games.]
never knew this but it finally explains why metal gear is one of the only games that uses "O" to select things.....
i agree, bats is one of my fav series, great games. however knowing the talent they have now, id love to see an original ip from them or see what they can do with another licensed title like the rumored tmnt game. after a new title then they should return to batman, a bats game every 3-4 years would keep the series fresh and allow them to do other things
well said hope hope hope this is true
1. biohazard is a cooler name and makes more sense, its too bad they couldnt use the name here
2. i know a lot of people where this effect actually happens to them. personally though, i like resident evil games, ill be getting both. i enjoy the concepts behind both and they should feel pretty different too id imagine
3. in my opinion, they would have been better off waiting though. in fact they could have just packaged the trailer at the end of orc so pe...
same here, i loved the demo myself and cannot wait to pick it up day one!
first off you didnt finish it so you barely seen anything. the first 45 min is a tutorial.
second, the combat is one of the best combat systems ive used in a while. once again, you didnt finish it so its unlikely you tried all the different types of weapons, used any magic, or really even learned any of the things you could do ( block, parry, roll, switch between two weapons at any time, magic, reckoning mode )
third, the art design is amazing, if you thi...
lol i agree completely, its what fable was always supposed to be. unfortunately fable got worse with every sequel :/
